26 Beach

My friend overheard me talking about my French toast addiction and recommended 26 Beach, a restaurant in Venice with (26?) French toasts. Walking into this establishment is an experience within itself. It feels like walking into a doll house with pink umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. The menu was quiet extensive with some really good and pretty expensive options. Service was slow but finally my Kentucky Bourbon French Toast arrived. For what I got, it was really good. I could taste the Bourbon which was really complimentary to the blackberries on top. But I got one piece of French Toast... I've never been somewhere where they only give you one piece, probably because it doesn't fill you up at all. AND it was $12.That was the least expensive option (others were $16 upwards.) So if you want good French toast, a long wait, and to leave hungry and $20 lighter 26 Beach is the place for you.
