Urth Caffe

French Toast baby! Never sick of it. Urth cafe is amazing. I wanted to order everything on the menu including all three of their French toasts. However, this was my fifth French Toast in less than two weeks, so I opted out of the nutella stuffed or corn flaked crusted and stuck to the simpler (definitely not simple) plain French Toast. Let me pause on this French Toast Quest for a second so that I can rave about Urth. This place has a line out the door and a three fold menu with literally anything you could want. You see all this before you even see the glass container filled with the most beautiful pastries and cakes you can image. My mouth is watering just writing this post. Besides my French Toast, I had also ordered a Mocha Mint, which was the most beautiful mocha I've ever consumed. I felt like I was drinking leprechaun chocolate. Is that even a thing? I think I made it up. The wait is reasonable considering the line out the door. The presentation of my French Toast was supreme, however the taste didn't quite live up to the presentation. It in no way was bad, but just not quite as delicious as I'd hoped it'd be. It still had a really good flavor and the brioche bread was nice and thick. The berries on the side added a needed pazzaz, but overall it was just lacking something to make it stand out above the others. I'd still recommend it to any French Toast lover or just lover of breakfast foods. If you're ever in LA, be

sure to stop by Urth.
