Mary's Place

For this post we’re going back to good ol' downtown Novato, considering every other breakfast place I tried to get into had a 30 min wait. I was seated right away, but service was bad. When I say bad, I mean I knew exactly what I wanted, ordered right away, and then waited 45 min for French toast. That being said, it was busy, and the kitchen was cooking for both Mary’s place and the connecting bar, but I was reconsidering my option to waiting 30 min at a different place. When my French toast came, I’d say it was painfully average. There was nothing wrong about it, it just tasted bland and how you’d expect average French toast to taste like. If you’re looking for a basic diner style breakfast, Mary’s is your place. As for me, I will take the 30 min wait somewhere else.
