Salitos

Happy Valentine’s Day! What better way to spend it than with the love of my life, French toast. For this outing, I made my way down to Sausalito's Salitos restaurant. Salitos is adorable. I was seated outside right on the water but kept warm by the propane heaters. Service was phenomenal and the over all experience was really good. Of course I ordered their pineapple rum French toast. This French toast was not your typical one. It came in small circular pieces of bread. The flavor was good and I really enjoyed the bits on pineapple inside. However, it was so thoroughly soaked, it kind of fell apart in my mouth and sometimes on my fork, it was just too soupy. I also was not a fan of the vegetables that came on the side, but each to their own. My friends crab chowder was delicious, I might order that next time I go but overall Salitos is an 10/10 recommend.
