Marvin's

Nestled into Downtown Novato's Grant Ave lies Marvin's, a cute restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch and a variety of old fashion milkshakes. Recommended to me by many people, I decided to put Marvin's to the test, the french toast test to be exact. After a short wait I was seated outside. I enjoyed catching up with my friends and people watching in the friendly environment as I waited for my food. Sadly, Marvin's french toast fell just short of average. It was topped with powered sugar and strawberries, but nothing stood out. In fact, it was pretty bland. I tasted my friend's orders of pancakes and waffles, those as well were not spectacular. Overall Marvin's is a pretty average restaurant with no element that made me want to rush back. Maybe their lunches are better.
